This is a subject I rarely see talked about here. I have created a few profiles and want to create as many as possible. I have created profiles through google, yahoo, manta, linkden and the local newspaper's site Pennlive.com. I am interested to see how many other detailers that post here at AGO also create these profiles and want to get the name of as many of these sites as I can where I can create new profiles to help get my name out there in a better way. So what say the masses?

I have an extensi e LinkedIn profile, but then again I am a full time IT Project Manager in NYC and only detail my own cars on my free time. Definitely go with Linked in. Google is a huge win no matter how u slice and dice it.

For building your brand, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn are must haves. If you have time, you can use Google+ & Manta. But remember, content is the most important thing. If you create an account and never update it, its not going to help. Google & Bing will index you higher if you update more frequently, and both these search engines will (almost) always show up results from Facebook, LinkedIn, & Twitter over above (well, Google might show G+ results above others).
