When will it happen ? It is so damn expensive for the shipping rate and custom fees. For example, if i make an order of goods from AG like $500, i have to pay $100 or more of shipping and custom. So i hope there will be one day that can have free shipping for Canada, and we only have to pay for custom but not both.

I know how you feel. International shipping from AG is ridiculous! I had an order (yes, it did contain a few shampoos, which are not light), but it was around $US297 for the order, and I paid $US190 shipping!!!! I was lucky to **JUST** avoid customs fees as well because they decided to not include the shipping as part of the item value (which they normally do) because I went to the office to see them.

EShine doesn`t have much choice than AG. I should suggest AG that Free international shipping when order is over $500 or $600, then we only have to pay for the custom fee:), that will be much better for us to avoid expensive shipping fees . I am pretty jealous about people who live in USA, because sometime i go to AG site, it will have Free Shipping over X values. It's not fair for us who live up in the North( Canada), just a boarder across.

I don't think we're supposed to be posting competitor websites on AG. That said, you can ship your stuff from AG to places close to the border (for free). There are places in Buffalo that will charge you $6 per package to store it indefinitely. Then take a trip across the border and pick it up yourself.

Fly somewhere warm from Buffalo and stay a week and then you can even bring the stuff over duty and tax free.

:props:

It's sad how much we pay for stuff up here. I took my uncle's SUV down to Buffalo for the day this past summer and picked up a Big Green Egg in Lancaster. Declared it at the border and paid GST and PST on it. Asked customs if I would get credit for the $65 in taxes I paid in Buffalo and was told that not only would I not get credit for the taxes but I would be paying GST and PST on those taxes as well!

I told them that the really sad part was that despite that, I was still saving $700 over buying it in Canada...

Hey Matt, i've recently just made a $657 USD with a $230USD Shipping cost. Im looking forward to my call from customs. lol.

This is why I stopped buying my products from the Ukraine :( ..... just kiddin, but Im totally feeling bad for you guys now!

My international shipping has been quite reasonable to Oz. Last order was about $300US shipping based on 81 pounds of products in 2 huge boxes. Value of goods was about 1200 bucks and that's with 20% discount and BOGO's in the order, i'll have to check.

Same for me, I would soooo much love some free shipping to Canada once in a while like in the US

What I normally do is wait for big deals then order a notch above 150$ so I can use the 20$ off coupon combined with things on sale or BOGO. Also avoid any 128oz since there is a surcharge.

Cheers

To quote Trey Parker, "Blame Canada!" Canadian postal regulations import duties, customs fees and those ridiculous en Francais laws in Quebec are your benevolent socialist government's way of telling you if it ain't made in Canada, don't bring it in. Additionally, the extra customs forms required for shipping anything to Canada are a pain.

Do what other loyal Canadian patriots do. Get yourself a private post office box near the boarder in the U.S. and smuggle your order in past the Mounties.

Seriously, it's not Autogeek's fault? Do you have any idea how expensive it is to print up or even just spray paint bilingual labels?

When you see the tracking status showing your item has arrived in NZ but hasn't been dispatched to the courier company, that's when it's waiting for u to pay gst. You should get a letter from them after a few days advising you how much to pay and how to pay.
