Hi all-

I just signed up a couple days ago. I placed my first order last Thursday and it will arrive tomorrow. A new GG 6" DA, some 6.5" pads, a 3.5" backing plate, and some 4" pads.

I have a 2009 Fusion with 122K miles on it that I'll be trying the DA on since I'm new to all of this.
Then I'll tackle my 2011 Harley.

I live in Fairfield...... work in the dreaded Maryland. :)

I'm looking for suggestions on what to use. I've read a lot on the Forum but all that reading just clogs up my simple mind!

I watched "Junkman's" videos yesterday. Great stuff!.... and he's a fan of M105 and M205.

I'm a little nervous about putting that DA on my Harley!!
 
Welcome to the site from a fellow South Central Pennsylvanian. I'm about halfway between York and Harrisburg. Most of that Harley clear is crazy soft and hard to finish without some light marring, some others are a little on the harder side. You'll definitely want to be testing the least aggressive methods first.

Your Fusion on the other hand should be on the side of harder paint so it should make for some good learning as far as compounding and polishing go, still always test least aggressive methods first. No sense in doing more work and removing more material than what is needed to achieve the results you're after.
