From "stay tuned" to T U N E D !!

Yeah warranty in the wind now…. I love it and more fuel always a plus. Fuel+air in/out = MoPowa!

You’re right on the bumper. Say the video you mentioned.

I don’t know if I like them based on that break in the two pieces. Also would have to see fit but from far/video looks good.

Another thing I saw was Colossal tech makes a big mouth. Would look cool in red and I’ve read back when looking at it for the Mustang that really adds air flow (MoPowa!). Don’t know if it is as effective.

My JDM roots would get the collab version with Diode dynamics…

Well the part IS a Hyundai part though AND it's even covered up with this insulated part even

Also when I tuned the mustang and changed air/fuel Ngage would recommending updating tune.

Did problems stop before or after you did exhaust upgrade?

Maybe once modding check back with tuner? I did an external tuner so I could just email me a tune but now that you got a spare ECU would be more realistic if it did need an update…

I only saw the short and she just called them “overnight parts from Korea” (love her for that).

If there OEM fit and finish should be fine.

Yeah it's Hyundai/MOBIS part, made in S. Korea . I've had great service from Shark Racing, parts usually show up in 1.5 weeks

The mid-pipe was done while the 1st tuned ECU was in, then they swapped it out and put in a stock ECU because Hyundai's tech line told them to replace it. Then my spare, original ECU was flashed and once in the issue with partial throttle started up. I'm hoping this upgraded HPFP fixes it all but at WOT it ripped with that 2nd tuned ECU

Believe that is bumper on 2024 N. Think it first debuted on Asian spec one. May have been a prototype.

Just google 2024 Elantra N and you will see it.

Was trying to place what I relay with the top pics.... front bumper kinda a Lambo thing going on?? Looks good!

Would like to find the piece that breaks up the front end like that. I saw a girl who races an EN do it to her car but there was no link

I like how the lower grill is broken up, really changes the look of the car

Meant to quote this to get the pics.
They both good. I go back and forth but think the top pic looks maybe meaner. Bottom.pic is more refined. Just me.

Hand up for Diode Dynamics! Anything they do is great. Morimoto is another top choice, but they have gotten a little too corporate. Not a bad thing, but also has it's downsides. DD is still about the passion of lights.
I have from and like both.

It's the stock bumper with some bits painted body color, looks great. I posted my stock front to show the difference

I derailed my own thread, so let me get this back up. While researching HPFP's I came across this review by someone who had some issues with his and this upgraded HPFP solved the issues he had. As you can see there's "partial throttle boost" which sounds like the issue I HAD.

I found this upgraded HPFP from a site I've been dealing with for 2 years and pulled the trigger on it. It's a Hyundai/MOBIS part, made in S. Korea in the original box and some hologram mark that signals O.E. part.

Even though my stock HPFP works fine with the stock ECU, worked at WOT with the tuned Stage 1 ECU, I'm hoping it solves the partial throttle issue....thoughts

Probably not alot of "tuned" content coming anytime soon, but there will be content today nonetheless, stay "tuned"

Thanks to Big Dave coming through for me HERE

The little ️ on the EN/Avante's in the diffusor is just a reflector, in Australia it's a rear foglight per the law...I had to have it

I found a shop to take care of this for me yesterday, has a nice switch on the dash too (can't really see it when driving)

Now the i30N transformation is complete...oh wait, hey Dave, I need a new dashboard and associated parts to concert to RHD, can you help a brother out

Lookin good Roger, luckily Hyundai was smarter with their design, it was easier for you than US FJ owners, if they want Australian spec rear fog lights, which I think is actually Japanese spec, they have to change the whole rear bumper. The US only gets reflectors in their rear bumpers.

I only probably use them a few times a year.

Do you use your trailer hitch much? Diode Dynamics makes a hitch mount light. It works as extra backup light and driving light, but also has option for extra brake light.

I've used it twice in 8 years of ownership, it's only there because the previous owner towed a caravan. I have a step that bolts to the hitch tongue, and it has two back up lights built into it. But I took it off because I kept banging my knees on it when I was accessing stuff in the back. I now just leave the shackle block in it, in case I have to hook someone up.

That Diode Dynamics hitch light looks pretty cool though, I'll definitely bookmark their website.

Amazing company with top shelf products.
You pay a bit more than generic LED lighting companies, but with the high level companies you get the best products. Diode Dynamics, Morimoto, Rigid, Baja Designs, Vision X, etc.

When I moved to Europe many years ago and shipped my US-spec car, I had to have the rear fog-light conversion done. Fortunately since I owned a German car at the time, it was as easy as two bulbs, a Euro-spec headlight switch, and a single setting toggled in the car's software. I loved having them for driving in fog/heavy rain/snow and left it all in place when I moved back to the US. I used them in foul weather conditions quite a bit.

My BRZ has something like your Elantra N had, but Subaru didn't even bother to put a reflector there. It's just an empty red lens area between the reverse lights with no wiring or socket. I'm contemplating turning it into another brake light, but I'm not fond of some of the kits I've found so far.

Had to snap a pic of the rear foglight on when it was getting dark

INTERESTING RECALL UPCOMING

There's alot of speculation on EXACTLY what's going to be done here. We've heard everything from a new HPFP, replacing a part on the side of the HPFP as well as an ECU update to compensate for this change

Now I haven't had the tuned Stage 1 ECU in the EN since early spring, so a reflash would be on replacement stock ECU. That said, if the HPFP is replaced I "might" re-install the tuned ECU back in...thoughts

No driveability issues since the knock sensor was replaced, it's 2nd one and replaced stock ECU has been fine

I miss 20-22 psi and NO OCTANE LEARNING
