Hey Folks,

It's that time again for a full detail. I'm thinking of trying a new LSP after a full prep using hopefully a Flex with either TSR/FG/085rd or SIP/Nano/085rd.

Previously, I used DGPS with excellent results. Durability, protection and slickness is still amazing after 4 months. However, the shine and wetness is a little sterile as compared to other Vettes I see that are coated with nuba. I have to amp up my finish with FK425 which does wonders. I've found that I get the itch to polish and reseal every 2-3 months anyway, so the long lasting protection of a sealant, at the expense of looks, is somewhat of a waste. Plus, I live in Las Vegas where the only environmental hazards are heat and bugs from highway driving.

I've read stellar reviews on Fuzion and SSII for metallic paint jobs. Both have similar 2-3 month longevity.

What do you all think would be a better wax based on the following:

1. Color - LeMans Blue Metallic - Its a very dark blue.
2. Car garaged always overnight and mostly during the day now that I ride my bike to and from work.
3. Must be strong enough to protect paint from bug splatter on high speed highway drives. Nothing got through DGPS, everything wiped off with no etching, including hard water spots from sprinklers, etc.

Thanks all in advance for your advice. :dblthumb2:

Fuzion takes the cake, both are nice, but some of the modern polymers in Fuzion just take it up a notch.

ive nevered used fuzion.. but ss2 is still amazing .leaves a super wet glossy shine...

Is Fuzion a sealant or a wax? Can it be applied over a sealant?

Since it's a synthetic/polymer, can it be used as a sealant? Or would it be an all-in-one, sealant and wax?

I have both Fuzion and SSII and love them equal! My car is Electric Blue CC Metallic and pops with both products. If it's in your budget, go for Fuzion. $175 you say, think of it as BOGO (free refill)!
