"G R E A T" Idea for next contest

Forever Black

Into the drive, the explorer arrived- "the perfect candidate".

A new product in my arsenal, no time to acclimate.

Now the job is done; a new client is won-time passes on...

The moral of the story? Test first or you will alienate.

Not quite what I had in mind originally-got off track. Will try this one again later. I hope that this is up to par.

Speaking of par.

To paraphrase the "Golden Bear" (Underlined Words=My insertions):

There was a cat that was naughty
That had to go to the potty
I let out a scream
My face turned green
And the cat walked away quite haughty

There was a detailer named Ives,

using Collinite 845.

It's shine is the "czar",

will beautify any car.

To duplicate it they all strive !

Thanks for your post, pcw25...And a good limerick at that.

{Please refer to: Post #132 for a "remedy" for this cat...}

The anxieties of trying to make a good: “First Impression"
(Or...Would CarPro's Fog Fight been of avail?)

While driving my future Wife on a date that included dinner,
My worst fear came true: I ‘let loose’ with a Blue-Ribbon winner.
Much flailing of arms ensued, and the tears did abound
As this fog’s fragrant bouquet began hovering all 'round.
But my faux pas seemed forgiven when she said: “London’s is much thinner”.

Good day to you Sir Fun. I am greatful that you posted this a.m. as we have houseguests that aren't the most pleasant of chums. You can pick your friends, but you can't choose family.

A little humor goes a long way. Thanks for starting my day. Will post when I get back from brunch.

Where were you when the brouhaha reached its zenith ? 46277.

A customer once felt slighted,
He'd never seen packaging so blighted.
For the price he had paid,
he was truly dismayed.
Quickly, a firestorm ignited!

Meghan had to let things cool off for a while-see time stamps.

Whenever one is approaching a carfax
It is never the best time to relax.
Even if there’s a four-way flasher hanging down
Someone may scurry-through, on their way uptown.
What raucity, then, from impinging impacts!

MAN, I am so late- she's gonna have a hissy-fit. Darn these limericks.

If you ever go to Times Square;
Watch out for pedestrians there.
Some are cons plying their trade;
A quick step - on the ground displayed.
Shister sharks awaiting their fare share.

I am in so much trouble right about now-shouldda been gone already.

Inspired by Tundra_10's "new word of the day" for 02.18.2012:
Pachyderm

When Mt. Olympian Gods ruled the land and Myths ran rampant;
Were beliefs in creatures so fearsome, sired by these Rulers’ penchants.
Part-human, part-animal: Satyrs, Minotaurs, Centaurs, and others were seen.
But even Zeus himself, though, never thought this would be keen:
A resulting anthropophaginian from…“Taking to task”… the mighty Elephant.

War Elephants

Centuries before the days of armored tanks,

Egyptian, Roman, Chinese -employed their ranks.

A division - known as Elephantry.

Deployed by the hundreds - the Diadochi.

With the invention of gunpowder - outflanked.

Tundra 10 glad to here that you are taking advantage of both the VIP and the BOGO.
Good idea to stock up.

So very tired up and down the ladder I went

All day long polishing an RV, Im spent!

Cant believe how tired and sore I am right now

My arms are noodles and my knees - holy cow!

Sad news is I have one more day of this 38ft mountain, the owner better be content!

Took a drive last night to my local Auto Supplies Store
To see if they still stocked what I’d purchased before.
Yes!...There was still good ol’ Collinite 845.
Lo and behold! I was pleasantly surprised
Upon finding the Duragloss line…Blessings galore.

Where no more winter snow, or salt, will I ever again dread.

The desire for perfection leads many to deceive;

That the use of compound must be achieved.

Pictures and photos of varying angles,

Images enticing, and products dangled.

Least aggressive method and test spots conceived.

I have not done one of these for a while and since I have about 15 minutes before I have to leave for work I will try to conjure up something...

Off to work I go, working the night shift
I receive my pay next week, what a minute "gift"
I trudge and drag and work for hours on end
Working one day and ending on the next my days start to blend
One whole month of this crap, man I hope it goes swift!

... thank you guys for keeping this thread alive! It is pure entertainment for me to be reading these everyday. I wish I had more time to post up on here!
