Gallon Jug Pouring Issues

Thanks!!! That will work great. I would check KC's website every couple of months to see if they made something and didn't think to check elsewhere.
I haven’t tried them yet, but I ran across them so I can’t speak if they work well.

Several of the lower star reviews say they leak. These are not the same caps as the US Plastics caps. Must be from a different manufacturer.
The US Plastics caps don't leak.

With the spout being on top shouldn’t be an issue unless leaving on sides.

The yellow spout at the far right (picture above) was advertised for use with a washer fluid bottle (same thread/size as gallon bottles) so I tried it out. Works well and does not leak even if I held the bottle upside down.

I do not think it's the right one to dispense detailing products though. Nozzle is too short and also too large a diameter compared to the Griot's version. We'll see. It's still early in the year here but I anticipate trying the others in the next month or so.

Tested out the long thin spout yesterday. DO NOT RECOMMEND for pouring gallon jugs into spray bottles. Lots of 'glugging' because it doesn't have a vent, except for through the pour nozzle which is fairly narrow. Just an awkward experience. This one is likely best for pouring an additive into a fuel tank where you need the long skinny nozzle. That said... no leaking from the threads so that's a positive.

Next up will be the Chemical Guys spouts, followed by the Griot's (intentionally leaving for last as I assume they are the best).

Try the caps in post #1. They are extremely inexpensive and they work pretty good. You could probably get 10 of them for the cost of 1 of the other style.
Good for pouring out small quanities. I mostly use them for rinseless wash mixing and i have one on a gallon jug of spray wax which works well.

I’m cheap and have been using the caps I get off maple syrup bottles.
Threads right on, and helps with a clean pour. I use them on coolant bottles at work as sometimes the naked jug doesn’t allow for drip free top ups.

Hey, nice to see you back on the forum!
Thanks!
Not gonna lie, I’ve pretty much given up on detailing as a hobby, but thought I’d pop back to my “happy place” online and see what’s up.
Soon as I can figure out posting photos on the new forum without a computer I’ll share some of what I’ve been up to to stay sane.

Good to know! Wasn’t sure if that still worked after the change.
Are you talking about when the site was down for maintence? I've pretty much been using the Tapatalk exclusively for years and years
