My diamond plating is in! So I picked up some pure white high sheen/gloss paint, along with some adhesive to apply the diamond plating. Whole interior of garage is getting repainted along with diamond plating 4ft up wall all the way around, and wall with cabinets will be completely plated. Time to get to work... Enjoy the weekend!

Please post lots of pics. My garage is on the list for this year and seeing everyone else's ideas always helps!
 
Nice! That will look fantastic. My gaol is to change to all wall mounted cabinets except for a shelf to hold vacuum, steamer, and larger items. They really clean up and enlarge your usable workspace.
 
Got everything painted in the last 2 days. Took about 14 hours total. You can see the difference in the color where I did not go down 4ft to the floor due to diamond plating will be installed.
 
I love the high sheen gloss lock. Gives a nice reflection and disburses the light even better than before.

This upcoming week I will start the diamond plating.

Gloss looks nice!

I didn't catch the rationale for the diamond plating -- cosmetic? Durability/protection? Water splash? All three?
