Garage wall color?

I am the proud new owner of a 1 car garage. I am planning on customizing it to be the ultimate car detailing bay. First on the list is to paint. What color and sheen would you use to paint? I was thinking a semi-gloss ultra pure white. Thoughts?
 
Yup, I bet that's gonna be the popular answer. I have 3 of mine Silver and one Scarlet. The ceiling will be white or silver too someday.
 
How luxurious Pureshine,

It makes me want to clean out my garage as well for indoor detailing applications. Would make the winter months so much more doable.

I see the music on the right side there...First order of detail.

Maybe as a Spring Cleaning project.

that looks a lot like what I am working with, size wise anyway. Is that a HVAC unit just for the garage? Do the lights on the walls make a big difference? I was thinking of doing that, but was concerned about them taking up space and being easily broken.
 
Mine are light blue and "mocha", ceiling is white. I have the standard garage motor lights and 4 halogens installed on the ceiling. That helps a lot.

I have never broken a light yet in 2 years and they help a lot with interior work and paint correction. I turn the tops ones off when doing paint correction. The hvac is just for the house.
 
White semi would work fine. Do you have plenty of lighting? I got bored with white in my garage so I painted it two-tone with an accent stripe. I kept the top portion light to keep it from being too dark. Now to get the floor done. Can't decide on epoxy or paint. Good luck with you painting.

Lighter color will always reflect the light better making it brighter in the space.

The epoxy I'm referring to is a durable and somewhat expensive floor covering for concrete floors. There is a ton of info on the web. Google epoxy floor covering for the details.
