Just moved to a house with a GARAGE! Easily my favorite space in the house. It has a 1 car garage that I am converting into a car wash bay. First project on the list is to install a water supply. I will be running separate hot and cold water lines and I want to be able to have one spout that you can adjust just like you would on any standard kitchen or bath sink. Can anyone provide details on how they have accomplished this? Pictures?

Have a plumber put in a deep sink and you would have it made, just make sure to let him know you want to attach a hose to it.

Just tell him what you want.

I had that setup years ago and it worked great, had the washer and dryer in the garage so it was already there.

that would be nice, but there isnt room for a sink. This will be mounted to the wall and I need it to be as out of the way as possible.

Janitor sink faucets are able to accept a hose. I know Chicago brand is good. You will have to get some sort of backing in the wall to support the faucet. It may expensive depending on where they need to bring the water lines from.

Get a wall mounted, hot & cold water mixer-valve to run your water lines to/into.

that sounds like what I am looking for. any examples? do they sell at Home DEPOT?

Another solution would be to just go to the hardware store and get a washing machine flush-mount hookup that'll go into the wall. Then you'll have a hot and a cold spigot! Won't necessarily give you the mixing ability though.
