Garry Dean Infinite Use Detail Juice

He lost me as he was completely against waterless washes and got in a debate with me about it's viability without causing scratches. Everyone has an opinion but he's over the top in stating that it causes scratches. Given my history with the products and black cars, I have to disagree. But hey, he's in KY so maybe at some point I'll be down his way as I travel there via car a lot and I'll let him check out my S4 and will perhaps have to show him and be a part of his video or something :) I'll Rinseless wash my S4 pigged out so he can see first-hand it's fine.

Have you seen the video where he "proves" that waterless washing causes micro marring? In that video he goes over the test area with 1 side of the towel to remove the dirt, then flips the towel and proceeds to rub the living heck out of the test area back n forth a couple dozen times and even then there's almost no marring to be found under inspection. Even he says that he's surprised at the minimal amount of marring.. I guess he was hoping to create more with all that unnecessary rubbing. Lol.

I like the Junkman, but there's a couple of things I don't agree with or even understand... Such as his logic on microfiber towels. [the whole if they're grabby on your hand they must be garbage]
And I also don't understand why he hates claying so bad that it can take him 1-2 hrs. to clay his car.. I say just douse that bad boy with claylube and have it, there's nothing to fear with claying.:)

Laughing at how a 3 year old thread about Garry Dean's product turned into a seminar on the pros/cons of Junkman.

I love the internet. :)

I would agree on waterless, but he argued with me on Rinseless. I don't do waterless washes on either vehicle. If it was anything but black I might but even then it would tick me off to cause marks.

for paint I might agree, but again, solid black Audi...the cheap grabby ones micro mar the surface. Been there done that. They are used for inside my doors and interior, etc. Otherwise, I stick with the softer longer fiber 480GSM ones. The downside on black is they tend to leave lint that is a PIA to buff off. A really slick detail spray works though so I just hit the car up afterwards with that.

I'm with you for sure.
