I detailed this BMW last Friday. It was a mess to say the least! Watch the video and see what the dealership did to this beautiful car. I cannot believe anyone would let this kind of work fly.

It keeps me busy though, so I can't complain.

Thanks for watching!

Why did the dealership have to do so much wet sanding on a new car?

It looks like a great turn around.

Thanks!

I did explain what happened in the video.

Well, the way they did the bumper repair required wet sanding. They taped off each side of the area they painted and when they removed the tape their was a bold, raised paint line that had to be wet sanded to blend it into the factory paint.

I must have missed that...sorry.

I can see getting a used car with butchered paint, but not a perfectly new one. I hope the owner pitched a fit

No worries.

He did pitch a fit. They reimbursed him for my work. They also offered to have their detail guy work on the car some more, lol.

Needless to say, he laughed and drove away.

In other words, they're morons who should never be trusted to operate a paint gun.

Great save as usual, Garry!

It kinda makes me scared. My 2006 has tons of paint chips from living in Dallas which has to be the rock truck center of th universe. It is a 2006 pilot and the paint chips if you look at it and is going to need a respray. I am mortified taht even though I find the best body shop they are still going to butcher it.

It will be a blast. You should take a road trip!

Garry, love watching your videos. Awesome job yet again. Its ashame a company like BMW can le a vehicle go like that to a customer. Makes you wonder how many more they have sold to customers who do not know any better
