Gas prices are climbing

The price of gasoline will start going back down and average near 3$ a gallon for the year... unless some very specific things occur that are quite unlikely.

Yup. Once the Libya thing calms down or Saudi and others make up the diff, the speculators will sell and prices will subside. There is no supply problem in most of the world so what you have is speculators piling on because of a very short-term dislocation in Europe where most Libyan crude goes. The CFTC needs to grow a set and start enacting position limits. This is silly. People are getting gouged because the big banks and investment houses want to maintain their profits.

This is all about the rich getting richer at the common mans expense. We need to convert to alcohol. There are plenty of plants (like Kudzu) that could be fermented without using food (corn). I think I am going to build a still and convert my vehicles myself. Hic!

I agree with a lot of what you said politically but really I just came hear to to tell everybody to relax when it comes to fear of crazy gas prices.

Why? The price of gasoline will start going back down and average near 3$ a gallon for the year... unless some very specific things occur that are quite unlikely.

Near $3 is not good enough and il believe it when I see it.

I am all for self sustainment and self motivation... I feel that most of are... Otherwise we wouldn't be here trying to better our skills and open our businesses!

I know that the problem is not all gov based but that is a huge majority of it and honestly WE NEED TO TAKE A STAND!

:wow: $3.69/gal here. guess i will not be able to afford to go to work here soon.

Here in Central NJ, now varies from $3.50 - $4.05 per gallon. Going to store my '06 V8 Explorer Limited, and get out and wax the bicycle for any trips to the store within 5 miles or so. No more "Sunday drives" !

Gas here was starting to go down, then it just shot up the last week or so.
