I tried to focus on getting my car into cylinder deactivation, which means keeping the accelerator pedal in a very narrow range of motion (definitely a game). So far, commuting yesterday and today, I've managed 37mpg without changing how I'm driving too much. If I slowed down, that could maybe be 40mpg.
I'm getting 15 cents/gallon off in the BP app right now. Every little bit helps.

On the FIRST day of his administration, Biden canceled all the oil leases on federal land, canceled a major pipeline, and reduced the benefit for drillers to drill. So yeah I can blame one person it’s Biden ;and it’s actually not Biden it’s the stupid green people behind him that are tickled pink that we all have to pay huge amounts for gas because they want us off fossil fuel. So yeah it’s one person or at least his administration. The real people that are running this country are Valerie Jarrett, John Kerry, Bernie and Barack. With green eco-warrior money.

When you make statements like this- its hard for me to have much of any respect for you, it shows your lack of maturity and you still think like a school kid.
I am gonna go WAY out on a limb here and say you dont know Trump personally, or have had no one on one dealings with him, & if that is the case, that you dont know him personally, your a sad individual with a pathetic life-- because you hate someone you dont even know-- who has done nothing to you personally, I would hate to live like that. Lets be honest here-- all you REALLY know OR 99.9% of US know about Trump or anyone else like that is WHAT THE MEADIA WANTS YOU TO SEE /KNOW. Ronald Reagan PERSONALLY cost me several hundred thousand dollars, and I dont hate him, you have a lot to learn about life and the sad part is you probably dont have a whole lot of time to get it straight

On our way back home from San Diego we pulled over to get gas near Santa Barbara. I thought San Francisco was high until now.

I think historically the fuel prices in Britain and Western Europe were pretty much double what we paid

Now I can have some level of respect for you-- It takes a big man to admit he's wrong about something, its hard to do.
I still have to dis-agree with your view that Trump was bad for America. Since this thread is about gas prices-- do you think they would be this high if Trump was still in office?
Gas is $4.39 in my little town of Crystal River Fl.
No, trumps energy policies were excellent, independence is what we need. It was the many other things that happened in the last two years of his presidency that made him into somebody that I couldn’t respect, granted sometimes he was really egged on with trash like the Russian accusation which was totally false, but he fought too much for me, his Twitter behavior was totally unacceptable. And because it was unacceptable, the election of 2020, was an anti-Trump vote , not a pro-Biden vote but it led Biden slide in and now we have the hi-jack of the presidency by the extreme green left…The independent vote, the only vote that matters, left Trump in droves. So although Trump did the right things, his behavior led to a major swing the opposite way, And now we have a dementia president that takes orders from a dark Cabal from the left. Which is probably more dangerous than anything we’ve had in the history of this country.

This is im my eyes is the EXACT problem with some voters....they vote by their feelings!
Who cares about the tweeting and the this and the that....its about ploicy and how the country is being operated and in what direction we as a nation are headed!
Now dont get me wrong...i did not agree with the way he handled himself when it came to the childish deminor with all that, even with the debates. but i do see where he was coming from in a way..everyone was always gunnin for him for his entire tenor, making shat up. I imagine i would have been furious about that as well.
Atleast trump can still speak fluently and for hours on end without stumbling on ever other sentence or needing a nap lol
But now we have this crap storm...thankyou to those who vote on feelings, and to those who dont do their own research.

Voting for a president is a really imperfect situation, and the Un fortunate part is people vote for who they like…not for their competence. The vote for Who they think is the better person to have over for dinner next week…
Now in the last election, the general public didn’t like either one of them, and Biden lied more than I’ve seen most politicians lie, he said he was gonna be a moderate, he’s not ,he said he was gonna rule from the middle and unite the parties, he didn’t, and actually I think one of the most evil people in the world is his wife , because she let him run knowing that he had a mental degradation. She’s definitely part of the evil left cabal running the show…(my opin)
