The economy is strong and Biden has been a solid president. If anything the Fed is messing it up. We're in better shape than any developed country post-covid. He has accomplished a lot in the first two years of his presidency. President Biden has signed some serious consequential legislation in his first two years. His defeat of Donald Trump in 2020 kept the country free of of another term of embarrassment, incompetence, and far right authoritarianism which alone was a huge accomplishment. He's united NATO and pulled our allies together against a growing and aggressive China.
Biden has many more challenges to tackle in the remaining two years of his term as president. But like many aging people, there is a time to gracefully step aside and pass the baton to a new generation of ambitious and talented up and comers. 2024 is the time to pass the baton.
Republicans have zero credibility on debit and deficits. It's often the Democrats that have to come in clean up the mess they leave behind. Debt under Reagan (supply side tax cuts), Bush - Iraq war/tax cuts, and Trump. They all increased the deficit. The modern GOP is full of whacky fascists that want to ban books, believe in pseudo-science and deny reality-based evidence.
