General (basic) detail

I think where you live influences this greatly, in my area there are like 500 detailers, I don't think anyone could charge $50 for a basic detail. Regardless how good their work was, there's just too much competition.

I agree here in Philadelphia not so much competition even if you set your work away from others, just too many so called bargan hunters here and most really don't have an interest in proper DETAILING or PAINT CORRECTION, most believe you should be charging the same as the NEXT operator or less depending on your work set up (commercial, mobile or home based some folks even with finer LUXURY CARS are so FRUGAL (CHEAP).

This is basically what I did when I had my mobile business. I did not want to get into extensive detailing at the time, so I kept it simple. There were days where I would stop into a doctor's office and do 6-8 vehicles all wash and wax before lunch, then knock out a couple more after lunch.

Thanks HUMP DIESEL you got the point that I could not word, very basic and to point detailing task for beginners without a lot of cash for start up but can keep it simple so customers can understand the service they are receiving.
I am about to post (new thread with several popular services as package deals so the NEW DETAILERS in BUSINESS may use as the pricing menu hope you reply as you did on this thread.
