ORLANDO, Florida — Officials say George Zimmerman helped rescue four people from an overturned vehicle last week, just days after he was cleared of all charges in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin.

Sheriff's spokeswoman Kim Cannaday said in a statement Monday that deputies responding to the wreck found Zimmerman and another man had already helped the couple and their two children out of the flipped sports utility vehicle. Several news reports say the vehicles was burning.

The sheriff's office report says Zimmerman spoke with a deputy at the scene and then left. Zimmerman did not see the crash happen.

Zimmerman had been charged with second-degree murder in the 17-year-old's death. His acquittal prompted rallies nationwide calling for a civil rights probe, and the case has sparked debate about race and self-defense laws.

Hadn't seen the first thing about this on the news....hmmm wonder why? However it's been non stop news that jay z and beyonce are going to a anti Zimmerman rally... Just sayin

Doesn't matter, the people at these "rallies" don't watch the news anyways but they do as their told by their icons and "ambulance chasers" though, very scary IMO. People who can't think for themselves, even more scary!!

As far as Beyonce' and Jay-Z going to this rally, well keep in mind he's got a new cd out and Beyonce' has one coming out for Christmas, they're not stupid, just great business people that are cashing in on the free pub.

While all that's going on the killings and shootings continue here in Chicago, where's the rallies against that? A 6 yr old girl was just caught in the crossfire this past weekend, near a park dedicated to the memory or a cop killed over his motorcycle....oh wait, I might have that confused with another shooting, hard to keep track here, its really sad, seriously!

I rarely ever believe what the news has to say, they're one sided and want you to believe what they think. They get the media/society/viewers to believe what they think is right without knowing the whole story..
 
People are thinking this guy is horrid, he rescued people from an accident. While he is no cop, he is a good samaritan. Dont understand people hes innocent we want guilty lets riot

Not saying they aren't good business people I'm simply referring to what the news is choosing to cover.

And I agree that it is a travesty that there is nothing done for the 6 year old girl caught in the crossfire. Just like no one ever talked about the 14 month old that was shot on purpose during a home invasion in GA. The youngest ever murdered. They also didn't think the death penalty applied to these two men.
I never heard Obama say that could be his son...
 
Oh I know what you were sayin' A-train, no problem. Nothing is going to be done about any of this till everyone puts a mirror infront of themselves and starts doing some serious soul searching!

Growing up in the city of Detroit as a teenager in the mid 80's I can tell you this, the whole "new fad" about killing people ovger gym shoes isn't new, happened almost 30 yrs ago and I ask you...WHERE WERE THE RALLIES AGAINST THAT? I"ve seen with my own 2 eyes guys walking home w/o shoes on, they got "checked in". Not only were teens killed over gym shoes but various "fad" coats as well and again NO RALLIES AGAINST THAT! This was 30 yrs ago, no respect for life then and no respect now.

Now just to be "fair and balanced", the whole Rodney King situation, those 4 cops should've been convicted the next day and put into jail with the masses, period! There has been TRUE injustice out there for sure but not in this case, that's for sure, the people have spoken and that's it!

Anyone can pick up a police scanner and be a "hero". This all seems a little too convenient, given his trial just ended... and he's currently the social equivalent of a skid mark.

I guarantee he did not just happen upon this accident. The police were called, and it was from that public broadcast that he ended up at the accident scene.

You can't prove anything other than zimmerman helped someone. Keep drinking the koolaid buckwheat :xyxthumbs:
