Holy crap, seem I have a drive to come out and shoot the breeze about detailing with you when that happens.. :Packs a lunch:

Mitch, you and Spartanfan could form a local AutoGeek-ers chapter there in Athens. :D

You caught me last night before all the soreness set in from trying to show my wife how to operate the chainsaw. As we talked on the phone I managed to eat supper, melt an ice pack behind my back, then sit on heat for 30 minutes AND get my wife to bring me another ice pack!

Today I've been unable to even get out of bed all darned day. I fear it's going to be a long week of recovery. Hopefully by Friday I'll have good news for the weekend. (Fingers crossed) ;)

Yeah I really hope we get to geek-out of Saturday that would be great, the weather suppose to good from looking at it now.

I'm glad you were able to get so much done while we were talking, we yapped for a long time lol.

From the dead…… Sorry i've been gone guys things been busy.. Cardaddy, remember the grey car we spent hours on??? Well, a deer totaled my car so that was a bummer. So now I have a Tuscan red 2011 Maxima.

Hoping to catch up with everyone.

Cardaddy, I still owe you a helping hand on a project.

Do I remember.... do I REMEMBER?

That'd be the one where you didn't leave till 5:00 the next morning, right?

That was (for the rest of you that don't know just how long that training session lasted) not less than SEVENTEEN hours you and I worked on that car! Lots of wet sanding happened that day.

That was also when my back was killing me, couldn't hardly stand if I remember.

So you buffed out the new Maxima yet?

And how can I get my hands on some Opti coat???

Dear Neighbors

I have a whole bunch of stuff to share with y'all if y'all will just drop by. Next week I should have a CR Spotless system. I have a Griot's polisher, Tornador Black, Optimum Power Clean, strong pressure washer with foamer, the Meguiar twins, Blackfire soap (best I've ever used), Opti-Bond, Tuf Shine tire coating and cleaner, Detailer's Wheel Woating, Black Label Glass Coating, Blackfire tire gel, Sonax wheel cleaner, (have a load of this stuff I can just give you), Master Blaster, and a bunch of other stuff.

I'm in Buford, about a mile from the Mall of Georgia.

No I didn't buff it out yet. I was going to do that on my next long weekend off :)
I have to order some more D300 and I just got some 3" Microfiber pads in the mail and the backing plate.
I have some Meg's 21 Sealant and I still have enough WG 3.0 Sealant as well to do my car. I was asking how do I get my hands on some Opti coat to seal the car since it's fairly new.
Looking to buy a decent tire gel that will last for a bit on my car and a really good Carnuba wax to layer on top of the soon to be buffed and sealed Maxima.
I was thinking about Meg's 26 yellow liquid wax. I don't know if spending $60 on a solid can wax to put on my car would be worth it. The car does have enough metallics in the paint to see depth in the clear coat so we will see. I will do a panel on my day off either Tuesday or Wednesday and try that combination and see what happens.
