Georgia people stand up!

Mittenz and Mitch, I'm next to the Mall of Georgia and would be glad to help you guys and learn from you in any way I can.

HA! I'm about 2 miles from the G-Braves. We should get together and talk shop.

Woohooo..... the Ga Gang is growing! :)

Somebody mention beer? ;) (Hopefully not that Lite stuff that just makes ya' whiz a lot.....)

Now that the weather is breaking, it could make for a nice day, sitting around in the shade, doing a few 'curls', maybe a burger or two, doing some buffing, and getting into trouble of sorts. Got a big ol' grill that'll feed a small army with ease. :D

Did I mention I have some serious LED lighting in the garage?

Not on the Northside though... have to come south for this fella'. OTOH.... not far off 75 - Ex 224 (coming from the north) basically left at the ramp and 10 minutes later you're here. Then it's Ex 216 (coming from the south), where you take a left at the ramp (circular ramp so you're actually facing south, even though you were heading north):dunno: and only one turn later you're into the neighborhood.

BTW... there is a Summit Racing @ Exit 216, one of only 3 in the country.:dblthumb2:

Last time Mitch (Living) was here though.... that boy stayed 17 hours! Me thinks sunrise was coming 'bout da time he left (I was out of it by then though).

Been there a of couple times. :D

Down around Flippen?

More like McDonough. :props:

My Father in law was born in Flippen though, then moved way SE, down to Jesup to work on the railroad till CarMomma was almost school age. Funny thing though is CarMomma grew up/went to elementary school over in the Sylvan Hills area of Atlanta. Then I lived off of Blvd over close to the Federal Pen. Never knew her then.....

Yet both families moved to Morrow in 71 (her) 70 (me) and we both went to the same HS. REALLY glad that happened! :D

I am so down for that.. Do you have a garage?? Unless Mittenz allows us to use his garage :)...
What kind've car do you have and have you done anything to it yet???

Starting Thursday I am off for the next 5 days..Maybe Saturday if no one have BBQ plans?
And CarDaddy...OMG that was a hell of a run. I've updated since then and I am not finishing you a cut and buff on a 1980's Porsche single stage. Looking GREAT. I also snatched up a Flex 3401 :buffing:

I'm down for using my garage. I'll know later tonight if I have any plans on Saturday.

Everyone can bring their favorite products and we can talk shop. We can do our own cars or I have a couple of friends that have some what will be some challenging paint corrections that I have to do sometime. Not everyone this weekend of course. Maybe we can set up regular meets.

We could document it all and post up pics on here. GA Autogeeks. LOL

That sounds great, unless Mittenz have his car to do, I still need to polish my 2011 Tuscan Red Maxima :)....I've been dragging major ass doing this since I already have another project for a customer I am working on.
Let me know what the plans are, if we do anything or not I am always around your area, my bother lives 5 mins from the Mall of Georgia.

I'm good on my car for now, well my Si. I need to get my son to bring my other car by, but that will probably be during the week.

I apologize but I wasn't able to confirm plans for Saturday yet. I usually go visit my grandson, but sometimes it's Sunday. I'll try to find out.

Haaaaaaa.... boys don't let Mitch trick ya' with that Maxima.

Last Maxima he brought here he wanted color sanded, front to back, top to bottom! (Aftermarket paint and all.) :poke:

I was going to show him how to do it, on his own time. Next thing I know..........

@MitchLiving
Heckofarun.... uhhhhhhhh YES IT WAS! Can't say I was ready for 17 hours straight.
(Sure couldn't do that these days, not with my back as of late.)

That car was color sanded because it was a repaint.. This car will not be sanding.. Don't have enough time in the year for that...
But the front bumper do need to be repainted. The fact that the front bumper is so messed up I don't want to put a longer lasting coating on it, such as Gtech or Opti-bond or something....ugh.

Well not exactly 'because' it was a repaint. More because of the quality of the repaint. ;) Did turn out pretty good though, once all the time was put into it. (Which you ended up doing more of later of course.)

Congrats on that Flex!:dblthumb2: I have one as well now, including the LC backing plate kit.

Did you see my thread back first of the year with my new garage lighting?
http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum...roject-finished-par-38-5000k-led-upgrade.html

Notice in the thread that I put switches on each pair, so I can run the overhead lights without the LED's. Makes it a lot easier to drive into the garage without crashing through the wall!

Between the new LED's, my twin head halogen, a single head halogen, and another single head $99 LED I have plenty of light now for sure. :)

Not from GA but my 3yr old son now is and I'm here for the week visiting in Woodstock. Loving it here so far. Today took him to downtown Atlanta to the Georgia Aquarium, Olympic park and the Ferris wheel. Loving it so far and coming from the hectic DC Metro area it's so chill and laid back here. Going through rush hour here was a joke compared to the DC rush hour. No stress! Just my style of living. Would consider moving here too! Just passing through for now visiting the thread here
