I'd advise to be very cautious in accepting
tasks of attempting any type of repairs to
aircraft windows, and that includes detailing
with compounds/polishes.

Example:
What assurances can you give to the owners,
or operators, that the window certification
standards---(which are established by the FAA
and other Federal flight-agencies)---standards
which include, among others: "Bird Impact"...
have not been compromised?

Thanks,I will steer away from the idea of improving the glass.
