getting ready to coat

i have a 96 ford bronco i have restored, new black paint that has been wet sanded and buffed almost perfect paint looks great. would like to coat with the c quartz uk 3.0 . then do the gliss on top of that, what products would i need to do a complete job on this , from start to finish ,with the maintenance products to keep up the coating and would 1 coat of the cquartz and then the gliss be enough or should i do 2 coats each.
 
what i am looking for in a coating is one that will give me that wet deep look almost like you could stick your finger in the paint , would the cquartz do this or is there a better option , of course would want some longevity out of it but really after the look ?

Whichever coating you choose to use, here's the short list of things you'll need,

The coating
A panel wipe
Lots of microfiber towels
A GREAT hand held light


Edit - just re-read and saw paint is perfect.

so do you think the cquartz one coat followed by the gliss 1 coat will give me the look im after , also would you do 1 coat or 2. so i would do the eraser,cquartz,gliss, followed by a 3-4 day curing period in garage what would be the best topper after this thx
 
Carpro recommends two layers of UK and 1 layer of Gliss.

Wait time between coats of UK is 45 min to 1 hour. Gliss needs a minimum of 4 hours before it can be layered over a Cquartz coating.

Get yourself Elixir to maintain.

You will also need the panel wipe as Mike mentioned to remove the polishing oils.

I would highly encourage you to use CarPro Essence as your final polish. It not only performs amazingly well as described but it will serve as a base-coat for the UK to bond to and makes application super easy. I personally always do two layers of the coating 1hr apart then one layer of Gliss. Hope that helps.
 
went a different route just ordered the geyon pure with the cure and a bottle of prep, any tips or tricks for applying this

Good for you. Pure is easy to use. Key is prep it with Primer, then panel wipe and apply. Just be sure to have good lighting so that you avoid high spots. A nice overcast or cloudy day is perfect. You have time to wipe the smudges off though so no stress. When done pull it outside and have a look.

I just did pure on my most recent two Tesla details in the Show and Shine section.
