Going to add some glass polishing to the arsenal (water spots, etc.)
Thought of using my GG 3" with the GG 3" glass polish pads and some DG755 NuGlass.
When done probly GG glass seal.
Any thoughts on the pads or product?

I also want to know about the NuGlass. Wonder what pads to use with it, speed, etc.

I use Nu-glass alot.......I use a tangerine hydro pad 99.9% of the time,on a pc on about speed 4.( note that my pc is a 4inch set up)

the product works very well.........apply let haze then remove.

thanks dad07
ever used clay (that was made for glass) before or instead of polish?

What's comparable to a tangerine hydro tech pad? I'm using ccs pads, have orange and white I was thinking they would work.

In my opinion a new tangerine pad cuts close to the orange and finishes better than the white. This is just my opinion. I use tangerine pads more than any other pad.

So how many section passes do you guys normally make with Nu-glass?

I tried it out for the first time the other day and it seemed to dry out and dust after one or two passes. I was using a 4" tangerine pad on my GG6 using speed 4 initially then bumping it down to 3.

It looks like most of the water spots are gone but looks like I left some light buffer swirls behind as well. I was thinking about misting the glass next time with water to work the product longer. Anybody tried this or had issues with dusting?

Be very carefull using those Glass cutting and polishing disks. If there used with a non abrasive polish they will scratch the crap out of your glass. I would stick to foam for sure.

most people do have some water hand to work the product a bit longer but hopefully some others will chime in on how to get the buffer swirls out useing a da

Ok thank you.

I'm not too worried about removing the buffer swirls I inflicted. Fortunately I only tested the Nu-glass out on one window yesterday. I'd just like to prevent this from happening on the rest of my glass.

Those compressed rayon disks for glass polishing are dangerous. They will easily mar the glass if not used correctly. Those holograms aren't very easy to remove. Polishing scratches out of glass sucks and once you start trying you'll never be happy with the results.

The DG Nu-Glass is very dusty and dries quickly when using it by machine. I just use beat up 4" orange pads to clean up glass.
I have found the DP Glass Restorer to be excellent. Not dusty and makes quick work of water spot etching. Seems to rely on chemical polishes/cleaners as much as mechanical abrasives. If the water spots are not too bad the Klasse AIO is great at remove them also
