GG21....bad luck

Well I don't know if anyone remembers but I posted about my gg21 backing plate malfunctioning well I called GG and they said just send us it in and we will send you a brand new one and they did well two weeks go by and now this one broke too wth! The nut holding the backing plate on this one flew out while I was correcting a truck and the backing plate flew across our shop and it completely stripped the bolt

This has got me so mad I'm ready to just send it back and buy a rupes or another flex

Sounds like a cheap Chinese bolt that failed.

Griot has a lifetime warranty, send it back and see if you can get your money back. If that had happened to me, I don't think I would want a replacement.

Agreed, send it back and show them the damage and request a refund, if they won't refund ask for a factory new replacement not a reman. At that point sell it and get what you want as a replacement.
