gg6 bogging down?

I did they stated that they have asked the manufacturer of the polisher not to do that several times because of instances like this, they also stated that if i replace the brushes on my own it would void my warranty on that polisher . Apparently they dont want you changing out parts of there products.

Good news is I figured it out , I was using a 4" backing plate with 6.5" pads. I changed the backing plate back to the original 6" plate and it hasnt bogged down since. I dont know if it just mere coincidence or what ?
Not trying to be arrogant, but what in the world made you try out that combo? When you tried to center the backing plate, that should have waved some red flags.

Not trying to be a butthole, but if they don't want you changing out the brushes, why do they include an extra set?

Changing from a 4" to a 6" BP has nothing to do with the machine bogging down. If anything it should bog less with a 4"

To be honest laziness... I already was using 4" wax pads on it more frequently than the 6" cutting/polishing pads so to save some time i tried it that way.

My theory on it is this: The smaller back plate combined with 6" pad created more friction toward the center of the pad wich in turn was hard on the motor . I really dont know but it runs great now!!!

It would have Flash, but he was using 6.5" pads with a 4" backing plate.
