GG6 wobble, normal?

See video, there is a lot of play in the spindle, however it still seems to work OK other than a noise intermittently. I've been using my G21 so much I can't recall if it's always been like this, or of its a recent development. Thanks for any input...

that's not normal...

the PC's had some issues in the past with the shaft breaking off and you don't want that to happen while you're polishing...

contact GG (send them an email with that video) and they should take care of you... :)

That is straight up broken. Spindle or bearing is worn or broken. Do not use that polisher in that condition.
 
Yeah I got 3 gg6 broken now will be taking advantage of that life time warranty.
 
I had that happen on a HF DA when using the carpet brush attachment. They replaced the whole unit.
 
Appreciate the responses, hope GG will warranty, I really like it setup with 3" pads.

Yes it is. Was previously using the LC 3" backing plate. Hard to give a review on it with the wobble issue on the polisher , but is is heavier and denser than the LC one.

yup....bearing. I had the same thing happen to me last year....quick and easy replacement from Griots!!
