I just bought a $300 gift certificate for myself. I don't need anything now but I figured I couldn't pass on this deal because they don't happen that often. I have some newbie questions.

Can I apply partial credit to purchases if I buy less than $300?

Do they expire?

Are they fully stackable for all AGO purchases?

FYI: You can’t use an Autogeek certificate to buy on Autopia and vice versa.

Yes spending less is fine. I don’t think they expire, but double check your email.

Make sure you flag that email for yourself so it doesn’t wind up buried and forgotten about.
 
They don’t expire. You will get a store credit for the remainder if you only use part of the GC. Try to use it up though as trying to keep up with and use the store credit can be a pia. I’ve still got a partial store credit on Autopia that I can never remember to apply. AG is not going to keep up with your credit, you will have to remind them about it. I just add enough stuff to finish off the GC if possible, microfibers etc.

Always bugged me since AG and Autopia are owned by PBMG and share an office.
 
You just use the same code until the balance is used up.

And like said above, don’t lose the email, but they will resend it to you if needed.

I do believe you can use as many gift certificates as you need or have and can be used with any sale.

I’ll have to try this. For whatever reason it doesn’t work this way on Autopia unless they have changed. Sure would make life easier.
 
I have a Autogeek folder to keep my emails in until I use up the balance. Helps me keep from forgetting.
 
I didn’t get a confirmation on the first purchase of a 300.00 certificate. I assumed the purchase didn’t go through and ran the order again. Should have checked my CC statement I guess. lol
 
Maybe it's just me but the PBMG Holiday Sales just didn't seem as 'fantastical' as prior years, kinda toned down on the savings opportunities.

Maybe the weekly 15-20% off sales over the course of the year took a toll on the bottom line in the eyes of the new overlords.

Didn't even jump on any discounted gift certs this year.

It’s funny you should mention that. I made the exact same comment to someone a couple days ago. I thought maybe I just missed a lot of the excitement because I’m not on the forum as much.

Gift certificate seem to be on sales less and less often so I took advantage. Since I plan on ordering the Rupes rotary it will come in handy.
 
Yep the 12 days of Christmas sales used to have me refreshing the screen so I would not miss anything, but this year it was meh. I still remember when AG gave away the Christmas waxes, that was fun. The new PBMG owners have changed things like we expected. Not as many giveaways, bogos gone, and deep discounts have dwindled. I guess this is the new normal. I’m just happy they did have the gift certificate sale, I’ll make my own sale. Maybe the inventory sale will be a good one this year. You know “We would rather sell it than count it” sale that everyone has.
 
I agree. I held out on placing an order expecting a big Christmas sale and there is no sale at all! Black Friday was disappointing as well. It has a been a disappointing holiday sales season this year.

I was thinking the same too, just not quite as exciting this year.

My guess was it is because we’re missing Ol’ Saint “Nick”, but i had already forgotten about the other change.

Nick did do a lot with the sales though.
 
Yeah being newer I was looking for exciting deals and didn’t see much. The 20% off of tools and a free 50$ gift certificate over $300 was nice if you needed apolisher. Made a sweet deal on the boss gg15 package deal with the pads and MF towels.
