The OCD in me must correct you

*threw

LoL anyways I'm not 100% sure but I think some ppl have uses paint thinners and also a clay bar, but I'm just guessing :/

Step one: Get rid of girlfriend
Step two: If wet, clean with water
If dry, mineral spirits or even goo gone
** Both application on cold surfaces
** If paint persist, paint thinner which will be neutralized as soon as mostly clean (keep thinner in contact with paint/chrome as little as possible.

Work small and take your time. Don't try to flake the paint off. May have to do a quick polish. Will have to redo the LSP.

Iv"e dealt with this on paint before many time's always clay barred, there's no way you can clay bar with in the finns of v twin engine. Mineral spirits sounds good. I can use some likes on my face book page check it out search JD Custom Detail Inc. Let me know what you think.

Latex paint dose not stick well to metal especially chrome. A pressure washer should eliminate most of the paint.

that"s the first thing Ill do is give it a good pressure wash and go from there.

Agree, latex should come off pretty easy. Hot water or maybe a steamer then pressure wash.

Pressure wash did the trick, on 80% of the bike, what didn't come off on the chrome I used 4OT steel wool with mineral spirits, there was some on the paint I clayed that off. As soon as I down load the pics I took on the computer Ill put them up. You can see the pics on my Face book page,
Search JD Custom Detail Inc.

It's kind of funny how I can sit here in front of my computer and feel a flash of warm faced anger come over me by looking at what that woman did to some other guy's bike. She'd definitely be kicked to the curb if that were my bike. Great job on getting the paint back off.

Thanks like all detail work just need alot of pateince. As i was doing the bike i couldnt beleave it. I was almost going fo pass on the job. Because getting the paint off is one thing, getfing it off with out scratching or damaging something was a great challenge.
