I've been lurking here for a LONG time, and finally decided to step out of the shadows. I'm a bit OCD about having a clean ride, all my friends give me grief, my husband gives me a hard time cause I take up all the space in the garage with all my supplies, but he never complains when I wash his pickup, a Ford Super Duty Super Crew Cab no less.

Thanks for giving us newbies all of your expert advice!

My gf was the best helper I've had.
And my current helper is a girl too.
So yes, girls can detail too.
 
Welcome indeed. Yep the buffer doesn't know or care who's on the other end. It's just the reverse in my family I take care of everbodys ride they don't complain. My daughter went out on a date with her boyfiriend and I detailed his car while he was gone. Got a late start and finished in the dark. Sort of a Pay It Forward what goes around come around thing.

My wifes flight attendant frineds more often than not come back form a trip with a detailed car waiting for them.

Taken care of the world...one car at a time!
