Questions:
1. Why do paratroopers yell Geronimo? The custom of yelling "Geronimo!" is attributed to Aubrey Eberhardt, a member of the U.S. Army's parachute "test platoon" that demonstrated the feasibility of parachute troop drops at Fort Benning, Georgia, in 1940. To speed up the drops, the brass decided to try a mass jump, in which the chutists would jump from the plane in quick succession. The men were nervous about this, and to relieve the tension a group of them went to see a western at the post movie house the night before the jump. The movie featured the cavalry mixing it up with the famous Apache chief Geronimo
Eberhardt told his peers that he would call “Geronimo” to prove he was not scared. As the chutes popped open, the guys on the ground could clearly hear a shout of "Geronimo!" followed by an Indian war whoop. Eberhardt had made good on his boast and the unofficial yell of U.S. airborne troops had been born.

2. Who designed the first parachute? Credit for the invention of the first practical parachute frequently goes to Sebastien Lenormand who demonstrated the parachute principle in 1783. However, parachutes had been imagined and sketched by Leonardo Da Vinci.(1452-1519)
3. What is the name of FDR's dog? First his name was Big Boy. FDR renamed him, Murray The Outlaw of Falahill. His nickname became, Fala.
4. Who had the first patent for the automobile? Oliver Evans' being the first in 1803.
5. Where was the first basketball game played? Springfield YMCA, Massachusetts in 1891
6. Where are the Harlem Globetrotters from? Chicago, Il.
7. In the 1920's who was a "bimbo?" Sort of dim-witted street-corner thug we might today call a "wiseguy wannabe."
8. How many Americans died in the dropping of the A-Bomb on Hiroshima? 2000
9. Who was the first woman in space? Valentina Vladimirovna Tereshkova
10. Why is the AK-47 named as such? Avtomat Kalashnikova - 47, Kalashnikov automatic rifle, model of 1947. Developed by Mikhail Kalashnikov.
