Giveway for fun

Congrats...but where did you find #8? cause this is what I found

At least 11 and perhaps 23 or more American prisoners of war were killed by the Hiroshima A-Bomb (Barton Bernstein, Unraveling a Mystery: American POWs Killed at Hiroshima, Foreign Service Journal, Oct. 1979; Robert Manoff, American Victims of Hiroshima, New York Times Magazine, 12/2/84, pg. 67+). The Nagasaki A-Bomb killed more than a dozen Dutch POWs and possibly some Americans who may have been in a Nagasaki POW camp (Philip Nobile, ed., Judgment at the Smithsonian, pg. 207; Barton Bernstein, ed., The Atomic Bomb, pg. 116). In addition, over 1,000 Japanese-Americans who were temporarily in Hiroshima when war between the U.S. and Japan was declared and were prevented from returning to the U.S. were killed by the Hiroshima bomb

Remembering Normand Brissette by David Rubin, August 20, 2005

Thats just an online source...there are a couple books that I have read over the years, but it would take me forever to figure out which one.

Even that site says 1000-2000 in addition to the 11 POW's...As I said I have six of the brushes so he can have it but I was just wondering what he found that I couldn't.

I really enjoy trivia so if you have any other quizes please post.

Thanks

r_wain...your answer to #1 was wrong

If I get anymore things to giveaway I'll post another thread.

I just Googled the question, and the answer was there on Wikipedia. Guess I just got lucky. The only answers that I knew (but still researched them anyway), were 1 and 10. It was a fun trivia game. Made me think, and research. Which is something I don't like doing!!:p I finished the answering them, just before "24" started! Phew!! :D

I like this trivia. Well surprised that one of the questins was what was Hitler favorite song sung to him by his attendent? Where did the Term Assult rifle begine(hint millitary chanel top ten guns)? Great questions
