Glass Cleaner for Tinted Windows...?

I like Plexus for tinted windows. It also works well for LCD screens and other plastics.

I use Armor All glass cleaner,my baby sis had got me one of those gift packs years ago I threw everything out except for the glass cleaner. I really like it!

If it does not state "tint safe", i would avoid it. The problem is that you will not notice the degradation right away.

It took my dad about a year of cleaning his tint with Windex (with ammonia) before the tint shrunk and pulled off of the edge (with the help of opening and closing the windows.

i'm not sure if alcohol makes a difference with tint, but I typically try to avoid that too. as well as propellents (aerosol glass cleaners). I know that dwindles the list down by a lot, but you can still find straight cleaners without any of the chemicals or makeups I listed above.

Sprayaway! Seen my tinter literally douse a freshly tinted window with it to clean.

The woman at the tint place actually said aerosol types tend to be tint-safe. She wasn't saying the aerosol itself is safer than a spray, but I think most of the brands that are made especially for tints use aerosol, at least the ones sold in the tint shops. So what about aerosol could hurt the tint?
