glass polishing questions

I want to apply a permanent coating on my glass using optimum. What is the best product to use for glass. any pads i should use in particular? i have a PC with 3 and 5 backing plate. should i clay my windows?

You will want to clean, and clay your window's if there are any defects in the glass you will want to polish those out with a glass polish, and pad but if you don't have a glass polish or pad then use a orange pad with a product like meguiars m105 or m205

Just clean and clay it.
105 wont do anything but put compound into the chips in your glass.

Hey guys first post here, HI.

I have used m105 and a CG CCS green pad to remove very bad water stains cause by constantly using the windshield washer fluid. It worked very well to removed the oxidations, clay didn't do anything alone.

Will a glass polish and glass pad remove the marks caused by windshield wipers?

Wash, clean and clay the glass to start the process...
If needed, correct the glass with Ceriglass + CarPro's Glass Pad.
Seal the glass
