Just working on an Audi S3 which has a lot of glass at the top.

How do you proceed with this kind of roofs, do you apply ceramic coating on the glas as well or leave it as is.

Cheers all !

I apply the coating to the entire roof and it works well. Many of my cars have had a sun roof (though not as large as the one on an A3/S3) and I treat the glass just like the roof and coating everything. However, I do try and avoid getting the coating on any rubber gaskets/weather sealing.

From what I've observed, the glass takes the coating just like the paint with no difference it durability and no issues with clarity of the glass.

Thank you for that, I take it you also ceramic coat the lights, front and rear ..!?

Yes I do. I do it in the back simply to provide some protection from the weather. In the front I find it makes cleaning off bugs easier in the summer and snow/ice is less likely to stick in the winter.
