My glass is in good shape, the car is new. I have clay bar and Pinnacle glass coated them. Can you give me some examples of glass specific microfiber? I think that is my biggest issue now is the towels. The DP glass cleaner and the Pinnacle Glass Coat are good products.
This is how my Glass specific microfiber towels look:

You'll notice that the way they weaved it, it creates little row's. I wipe in the opposing direction of the microfiber weave on the glass and the rows work like little microfiber squeegees (if-you-will). In reality almost any short nap microfiber should work I just find these have more surface area contact with the glass are and thinner so more of the pressure is applied to the surface of the class (more cleaning per swipe).
I noticed they were really good at removing the fog that builds up on new cars. My mother and a friend both had this issue with their new cars and they tried cleaning the windows with Windex and had no luck. They also both went back to the dealer who temporarily cleaned it but it eventually came back because the car was still new. I actually got my first glass cleaning towel for free with my order from TMC, and after trying it out on my mother’s car I was sold. I could feel the towel grab on the glass and it was very hard to move at first, but as I buffed the contaminants off the glass it became smooth (just like clay bar, but done post clay bar). I think Tarminator would also remove the chemical fog from the glass with ease…
Apparently the “fog” comes from the plastics in the engine bay (gasket maker too) and come through the front defroster vents and cling to the glass. When I first pushed my Mother’s Ford Fusion past 5k RPM’s I thought the engine was smoking because of the fog coming from the vents. I pulled over to check and everything seemed fine (just looked like steam on the glass). After about 1,000 miles there was no more “fog” being created (or so minimal it doesn’t affect visibility). I still wonder how healthy it is to breath in this “fog”…
My process is overboard but it will result in crystal clear/clean glass.
