Glaze before sealant/wax-definitive answer

Depends on which glaze is being used.
I love Chemical Guys EZ Cream Glaze.
It's acrylic based.
I've had good results first applying the glaze before a sealer or wax.
One combo that gives really good results is the Griot's Paint Sealant over the EZ.
Loved the shine if gave me.

Many here knows I always apply the EZ Cream Glaze after every full wash, it really boost the shine without added waxing.

This was my experience too, using Collinite 476 on top of the glaze. I think there's probably too much variation in what constitutes a 'glaze' to generalize. I can report that I had trouble removing it, even with a washing of Chemical Guys Citrus wash and then of dawn. Whether it actually enhanced the bond, I don't know, but it sure didn't seem to hurt.

Just what I have gathered overtime from AGO and Adam's and what makes sense to me.

The best thing to do is try it out and see your results. Split your hood in half and on one side do glaze, sealant, wax and sealant, glaze, wax on the other side.

In my opinion; "What makes sense to me", should not be the basis for providing information here.

I have tried Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant by itself and I have used it to top CG EZ Creme. In my opinion, EZ has some filling capabilities that can be appreciated visually, when used under WGDGPS.

The problem is that there is a wide variety of definitions for a glaze, sealant, wax, and polish. Therefore there is no definitive answer for the question unless specific products are specified.

As for the what makes sense to me part, it's not just information that I made up for the sake of posting, but just how I compiled the information that I felt was right from all of the various things that I have read on the topic.

Meguiars #7 glaze...DP poly-coat sealant...Meguiars #26 wax. In that order seams perfect from my personal research. Does anyone see any problems with that?

Never used DP sealant before but it's got amazing reviews so thought it was a good choice...it was either that or Wolfgang 3.0

You want a definitive answer here it is....

From my personal (I'm no professional), I used polish, sealant and wax, all three of different brand, end result was pretty good, but not the durability. Looks lasted only a few weeks. If you're using polish, glaze and sealant/wax of same brand, may be, you will be fine.

Can someone (with experience) elaborate on using all the products of same brand?
