So, whenI am redoing my car tonight, should I try the CK vanilla hand glaze instead of EXP, EX, or UPP? I have been folloing the glaze threads, and from what I distinguish a glaze will offer more pop in the end. But is what I have this type of glaze for it?

well, what color car do you have? is it a metallic finish? what are you going to be topping the glaze with? are you polishing underneith the glaze?

Ummm.
Black.
Yes, will polish, then either glaze or UPP/EX, then top with Nat Blue or Max.

Using a glaze with add to the pop factor but you may or may not run into bonding issues. Most sealants don't like glazes due to the oils the contain, on the other hand peeps on autopia have reported using VM/UPP with no bonding issues but durabilty was compromised. But VM/Blue 2x would look dripping wet.

:iagree:

Glazes and wax are SUPER nice, but glazes and sealants, you have to be careful. Good luck scooter!

Hmm, Wystang, VM and Blue sounds tempting for sure.
Thing is, Iknwo no matter what I try I'll strip it and try a whole new combo in a few weeks!!

Wanted to add, no, I will not use a glaze and sealant, one or the other. was wondering if the glaze offered more wetness/pop than a sealant?
The VM is all I have now, a efw more coming in a week or so. I could try Megs #7 show car glaze, but figured nah.

Yes glaze will add more wetness then a sealant this is VM/#16 (1 month old with QS before pic)

Very, very nice Wy! The glaze looks milkier for sure, at least from those pics! Is #16 a wax, right? You use VM glaze w/ a PC or by hand?
Wait a minute, thsoe are differnet rims on that car between shots!

He just bought new rims. The white ones are his new set. If you have Meg's #7, I suggest you give it a try. It made my mom's black car look VERY enticing and WET! I didn't take any pics. :(

I would have to go buy the #7, just happened to se eit locally the other day. I don't really wanna buy it since I have the VM.

Yeah........#7 is awesome. It's one of the only pure glazes out there. Perfect after polishing. I use it alot ....especially on darker colors. Remember, Megs has been doing this for a while.

Clearkots Red Machine Glaze is a pure glaze....Yes #16 is a discontinued wax, and those are my new rims ;).

If you can't find any #16 around, try #26 high-tech yellow wax. It's very affordable, and I've been very happy with the results.

:iagree: carefull........;)

I say try it....Some people on autopia haven't had any bonding issues using VM/UPP.

My question is, how would/do you know if there is a bonding issue? Hazing/streaking, or just longevity?

You can notice slight streaking or ghosting. Looks kind of like a haze, but a little different.
