Received mine yesterday. Was raining today so I will test it tomorrow. I am thinking of taking a reading after washing, after compounding, after polishing, after coating and after applying reload over the coating.
My car is silver, so I don't know how much of a change all those steps will make... but it should be fun anyways
After owning the car for 3 years I noticed some small scratches on the trunk, I am pretty certain it comes from removing snow, I am anal about the wash process so I don't see how I could have scratched it while washing or drying. This will be a good opportunity to run some tests
I have also modified my evaluation form to include a place to test the gloss before working on the car. I think I will take the reading prior to washing.... will make for a more dramatic effect after doing everything else. Do you think that would be cheating?
