Glossiest, drippy wet darkening LSP for black cars with good durability?

Pinnacle souveran liquid, Meg's 21 or wgdgps 3.0?

Which one and why so?

Guys who've used Blackfire BlackIce,

How many months have you gotten and what type of environment was the car in?

Its hard to answer because I used spray waxes and quick detailers every other wash, so that adds to the durability. In the intense South Florida heat and humidity I was going on 4 months before I rewaxed.

CQuartz UK will darken the paint significantly. This effect is further amplified after applying Reload (as recommended) after the coating has cured for an hour. It is also insanely glossy.

I've got Wolfgang Sealant Glaze 3.0 topped with Collinite 915. I get compliments very often. Usually people ask if the car was new or if i bought it from some old lady that had it sitting in a garage. It's a daily driver that has NEVER been garaged since 2008. IMO that's pretty good.

Also it is my opinion that some car companies have better paint than others. They also have better paint processes. They also have better technicians and machinery doing the painting. IMO other than the top of the line stuff, the German automobile manufacturers paint systems are the best looking. They also seem to age better. Rare to see a rusted out bmw, vw, or mercedes. Rusted out Fords are standard.

P.S - I still like Ford and want a new mustang. like now.

I think you hit the nail on the head about paint systems on cars. There's a lot of truth to it.

Under sunset conditions, my neighbors 2009 Black Jetta looks very glossy, deep and shiny; better than my 16 yr old Black toyota thats been polished out and has Megs 26 to achieve the same look.

But when you bring both our cars into direct sunlight, his is swirl city! But under diffused lighting his cars looks in great condition after just a wash.

Paint systems def have a big effect is visual appearance!

GM was no better for a long time as well.
In the 90's, virtually every SUV, Pickup, and Car were "Orange Peel City"!

I remember looking at a Black 94 Impala SS in the Showroom, with a $340 Dealer Installed Paint Protectant on it, the most pathetic orange peeled paint job you'd ever see, and I laughed at the Salesman, telling him the $340 would've been better spent on a better paintjob. What gall to charge that money I told him, that I seen better paintjobs on Kid's toy Wagons.

Back then, Toyota Pickup's "Beds" had paint quality and finish 100 times better than so much of the ameri-crap. Yeah, a Pickup Bed.

With what I was seeing from Chevy back then, I remember clearly telling the salesman when I ordered my Tahoe, gobs of Orange Peel on it, and I'm refusing the vehicle. Mine wasn't so bad when it came, got lucky. Still, it's no Porsche Panamera, that's for sure.

Call me old school but I love Blackfire Wet Diamond on back cars.

dodo juice Supernatural Hybrid. thats just a single coat, and longevity is excellent

If you decide to go costing...Gtechniq C1 followed by two coats of EXO.

:iagree:
Great combo, and one of the less fiddly coatings to apply

Polished out, then Sonax Polymer Netshield, topped with P21S Concours look wax.

HUMP

I guess I'm one who still likes BFWD, but I mostly just coat cars now days. Here is BFWD from a few weeks ago though.

I honestly think your best bet would be to go with CQUK. It has excellent darkening (deep/wet look), superior protection, and it's hydrophobic properties are awesome!

Were is a 50/50 shot from a car Wills did recently showing how much darkening it has, and this is on a red car (Note, Finest was used on this car but the darkening is very similar).

Watch this video and you can see CQUK in action....check out the noticeable darkening line too! :)
