Go to Towels

PFM’s are cool. Mine have been altered to the point where they’re no longer the same thanks to “drying aids”

Since then they’ve been replaced by The Notorious Dry Towel and I’m not looking back when it comes to the #1 towel if I need to dry a vehicle with perfect paint.

I’ve got a few Gauntlet towels including a brand new 1 that’s still in the plastic that I recently just discovered I had in my drawer. Those towels are definitely good.

As far as general purpose, including polish/compound removal and also lsp removal, and just about everything else except for drying, it’s hard not to mention the Kirklands. Anyone who says those towels aren’t good enough for paint must be a shill as far as I’m concerned. Lol.

I like the Kirklands and think their nice… just wish they were edgeless or offered and edgeless alternative.

I did wipe the edge purposely on main and it marred but I was aggressive with it. Gonna try to cut edges off.

In your PFM you should try boiling it. There’s an article by Adam’s that talks about care and the recommend this when your towels aren’t absorbent. If it’s not working it can’t hurt.
