Long time Rupes user. It made me look good in the classic muscle world.

It's time to try new things. And hate the cord...!

Bought the Cbeast, the finisher and the pixie. All battery operated.

Looking forward to a new experience!

Hope these will do me well like the Rupes...

Tom

I have no doubt that they will.

Some day, I'll get a CBeast and Pixie

Oh, and congrats!

Will do.

Kinda of overwhelmed at the moment. Got all my pads/polishes systems down pat with the Rupes and now I go off and get me 3 flexes!

Gonna be a learning curve---

Must be bored--lol....

I'll pm you. Feel free to give me a call. Had both and used them both regularly. Now I'm all Flex. Happy to help share.

I am still drooling over these tools. I have been saying this since the first FLEX battery tool was released. Unfortunately, I had to channel my budget this year towards other purchases for the business. But hopefully I can get these tools sooner than later.

Has anyone had any success using these tools with Meguiar’s Cutting Disc and RUPES yellow pads? These pads I predominately own and it would be nice if they works well together. To save on some money of coarse and to hop right into the tools.

What??? You got 4!!!!

I only have 3....Grin.

Tom

Same here...

Have tons of Rupes pads. Have no choice but to use them till business picks up!

Tom

Worst case..I'll throw a hissy fit, say bad words and throw my pads across the room if Rupes doesn't play nice.!

Tom

Meh, why not.

I've used UHS on the 3401 and it worked fine.
I have also used the Megs MF cut discs on 3401. It works, but not exactly the best set up. Maybe just a tad too thin?

They work fine. I use the yellow mille ones that are thinner but I swap them very often to avoid overheating or damaging them. The thicker ones work just fine though.

Ditch Microfiber on forced rotation. Use wool. Cuts better and will be far less grabby.

Yes, indeed :)

I use the 4 cordless on the boat in the marina parking lot at the beginning n end of season ; and when the boat is in the water in which both cases I have no “plug” for power so these cordless tool come in real handy . I have stacks of wool pads n Rupes coarse blue pads n some finishing pads (LC). And of course I use the cordless buffers on our 4 vehicles n family vehicles

Yup, the first time using my cordless "finisher" was on my pal's blue hull boat on Lake Michigan. Standing in the water I buffed, he wiped. I regret not getting a picture.... next year!

You will be happy with the Flex cordless. I love all of them.

The PiXiE gets so much use. My favorite cordless polisher.

The CBEAST and Cordless finishers are great additions to my Beast and rotary.

I use the cordless whenever possible altho sometimes you just can’t beat the sheer power of the corded tools.

I will say that Flex makes some great quality machines. None of my Flex tools has ever let me down.

Expensive - Yes........ worth it - DEFINITELY!!!

Thanks Jim...

I've read all your posts re Flex before pulling the trigger.

Next is pads....gonna need to wait a bit and use up the Rupes pads that I have.

And a Supabeast...maybe.

Tom
