Any product tips would be greatly appreciated, I am going nuts with all the linting I am dealing with. :) I am using Meguiar's Supreme Shine towels

Meguiar's towels are great, how do you wash them?

Anyway, Cookie Monster towels are excellent, so are Chemical Guys.

I use warm water with normal agitation, I use ALL concetrated non-perfumed, no additives clear gel packs. I think I might try Micro Restore, it is a top loading washer without the big agitator pole thing in the middle.

Micro Restore works well. Btw how do you dry your mf after you wash? I usually dont have any linting issues when using the delicate setting (low/no heat)

High heat :( Think that is my issue, probably breaks them down

I get all my micro from chemical guys. great quality and good prices. Do a search for how to wash microfibers, theres tons of topics on here about that with great info.

+1 on the CG towels. By far they are very good and are very affordable. My only issue is the tags are sewn on but that's no biggie to take them off.

When first purchased, before using, you should wash them in warm water, rinse in cold. Dry with very low heat or just air ( that one takes awhile) no fabric softener or sheets. I do not use regular washing detergent, because the viscosity of it seems oily and thick and leaves behind a strong scent . Microfiber cleaners and restorers work very well at removing stains and mine does not leave a very detectable scent.

Target has some good ones. Gray and orange. Very thick and soft. have washed mine and dried on high heat at least 10 times no issues. Same goes for the CG blue w/black trim, and Red w/green trim.

Hi Op the supreme shines were the first expensive(compared to zwipes i use to use) towels I bought loved them, but wanted more. At this point I own ever cobra towel AG has to offer, and I must say the Megs Towels are right there with the cobras. I use the Blackfire Microfiber cleaner.

The cobras are great for waterless wash and the megs are great for buffing, and removing polish.

One thing that I do before tossing MF towels in the dryer is to run the dryer for a few minutes with nothing in it to allow the lint trap to grab up any excess lint that is in there from the last load of clothes. I always see some lint in the trap after doing this. That's lint that's not in my towels in the end.

I've been using high heat since I started detailing and never had the melting problem that someone mentioned. Has anyone ever really experienced this or is it just a theory that someone posted and people are repeating?

That's exactly what it sounds like Dave. Been using high heat to wash and dry for years.

CG microfiber towels and CG MF detergent have worked wonders for me.

I have the red fluffer towels.
