if you have to go use the washroom, do you ask the customer to use theirs or run to a gas station? i would imagine it being a little uncomfortable letting someone you dont know into your house.
I imagine watering their shrubs would be worse![]()

:iagree: Don`t be like that postal letter carrier who left a pile behind one of his customers bushes. Unknown to him a neighbor got him on video & sent it to the post office.
Yeah, say you were spraying yellow Round Up.Just tell them your killing weeds. I call that "added value'!

When you first arrive and meet with your customer, after discussing the job with them ask them where the facilities are located in case you need to use them. Most people I've worked for are very gracious and will simply let you know where the closest bathroom is located or the one they want you to use which is usually the one closest to their garage.
In my life, most of the work I've done is show car detailing or call it multi-step detailing where I'm going to be at the customer's house for 8 to 14 hours and sometimes overnight. They know this upfront and anyone hiring a person knowing they are going to be working on the "baby" all day also understands this person is human and going to need to use their facilities.
This is important because you will be working hard and in warm and hot climates you'll be sweating and you should be packing water or other fluids to keep yourself hydrated.
So just ask upfront and then push forward and get to work.

That's awful! lol
... I watered the bushes...
