Going with the GG 6". I think.

Ok. I've been reading the forums and believe me if I had the extra cash I would get a Flex since so many here recommend it. But this is my first DA and I'm going with the GG cause of price.

Now here is where I'm confused. Which GG should i get? What size backing plate is needed? What pads should I use? I've read a handful of threads stating use the 4" pads or 5.5" or 6" pads.

Please help.

I have the GG 6" and would def recommend the 25 foot cable. I use a Chemical Guys 5" backing plate and LC and Buff and Shine 5.5" pads

Griots only makes the 6 in and 3 in. You definitely want the 6 in. Then buy a 5 in BP and 5.5 pads or the 5 in Megs MF system (be aware that MF system works best on factory clear paint. IF you are polishing repainted cars, you may want foam pads.)
