Gold plush jr microfiber towels

Just got my gold plush jr microfiber towels and noticed one side is softer than the other I was wondering if anyone knows the reason why

They are what is called "dual nap". Use the longer plush side for initial wiping. The longer nap allows migration of particulate matter away from the paint's surface. Use the shorter side for the final wipe. It's a common feature of most microfiber products. The short nap side is also nice for stubborn product removal.

Most high end mf have dual sides. If you try the lavender plush towels have a very deep pile on one side and shallow pile on the other

I use the plush side for wax/detail spray/spray wax removal and I use the short nap side for polish removal. This applies to all my towels.

Recently I applied a coating and used the short nap of the grey plush towels for coating removal.

i like the short nap for finial buffing, either that or a polishing cloth the real soft ones
