Goldwing windshield

A co workers Goldwing windshield has what looks like small scratches all over. He thinks they are internal cracks. Has anyone dealt with this and how would you go about correcting it if it is scratches?
 
Idk, I just went and looked at it and it looks just like swirls from cleaning but they are mostly straight and not circular. It seems it would be hard to use a DA on it because of the chance of cracking it. Wonder if it would need a compound or just a polish or something dedicated for plastic or lexan or whatever it's made of?
 
I have used "All Kleer" polishes with a DA on my Harley, this helped a lot. You don't need much pressure, let the machine do the work.
