Hi you guys who are in it for profit. What is a good cheap detail spray? I have used no-rinse wash mixed at about 8X strength in a spritzer bottle, but it doesn't quite seem "right" compared to the Mothers Showtime detail spray which I happen to have on hand. $8 bucks for a little shiny stuff and some cleaners seems excessive to me.

I don't need the "ultimate" spray--this stuff is a commodity to me. Something that's serviceable, mostly used for taking off bugs and bird poop. You know, that kind of thing, that's all. Maybe I should get over my aversion to home-made stuff from the no-rinse wash.

I don't mind buying concentrate and then mixing it up if necessary.

What do you think?

I use Ultima Waterless Wash Plus concentrate. Dirt cheap..does a great job. I bought a gallon and put 3 oz. in a gallon of distilled water then keep my spray bottle filled. I use it as a waterless wash, detailer, and a drying aid. I wouldn't use anything else if it were given to me. What's fun is to fill other peoples detailing bottles for $8 a bottle. They are happy and I more than pay for all I use.

Yes. It reminds me of Meg's Glass Cleaner - a concentrate so very affordable and for general use including glass.
