This guy has been a good friend since we were born. We grew up together and went though a lot. He is shipping out to Iraq at the end of the November. He is front line, and the outside gunner on a tank. Very dangerous! His mom wanted some good recent pics of him before he left. Its tough having to see a good friend ship out. We had a fun time though and got some cool shots. Let me know what ya think.

Great shots, my son made it thru two(U.S.M.C.) tours in Iraq safely. Please assure him that I as well as a great many others will be praying for his safe return and that I appreciate his Service to our country so that we may all enjoy everything this great Nation offers. God Bless America

I know its going to be hard on you so have faith, try not to worry about somthing that may never happen.

looks like a hero to me!! great shots too. I'm sure his parents love the pics too. I pray for the men and women over seas fighting each and every day as many of us do. It sucks that we put these folks out of our mind for periods of time while we keep up with Govt bailout, inflation, oil prices and hurricanes.

Thanks guys...im having lunch with him tomorrow so i will tell him that all of yall are behind him. It will mean alot to him.

As a Viet Nam vet I know what he is headed into . I am proud of our all volunteer military . Please let your friend know we are praying for him , tell him don't do anything stupid or take any unessary chances and come home alive . Good Luck Soldier !

Pics look good. I've had quite a few friends that have gone over and come back fine and I know it'll be just the same with him. My ROTC teacher did the same job as your friend in Nam and he came back without even a scratch. My prayers and thoughts are with him and everyone else over there.

Great pictures, his family will definitely love them, good luck to him and make sure you send him letters to keep his spirits up while he is gone. Oh and the very treasured box of goodies, I hear wet wipes are like gold over there...

Wet wipes are gold during any deployment, GL to him.

I agree---great pics too. What sucks even worse is when we can put trillions of our money toward rebuilding other countries but when it comes time to save our own asses our govt. balks over it. What a shame! Good luck to your friend and thank him for serving for our freedom. I try to thank anyone I see in uniform.

1st the pictures are incredible. You have quite an eye. 2nd, send a goodie bag with him for detailing the jeeps and tanks. It's very much therapy for me. I'll bet a tank with some fuzion would really stand out. :D

Finally, (and sincerely) give him a heart felt thank you for serving! Freedom is certainly not free!

Praying for a safe and quick return for all our American Heros! PM me his address once he is settled, I would feel honored to send along a few goodies myself.

Wow! Thats awesome! I sure will thanks guys!

Great pictures, I really like your photo skills. Brandie makes them better though lol. On a serious note, it sucks your best friend is going away. But tell him we support him and THANK him for the courage to to serve our country and our thoughts and prayers will be with him and all of our military.

Good pics, we wish him the best with a safe return. My brother did 2 tours over there. Will keep him in our prayers.
