Good morning guys and gals! I recently purchased a new ram 1500 truck this summer and have made it my passion keeping it looking as nice as the day I bought it! I'm a meguiars man, but am open to trying other products. I purchased a buffer but have yet to have the guts to put it on it in fear of messing up my paint!!! View attachment 30795
 
It's easy to be a meguiars person. Their advertising is everywhere. Get familiar with brands like optimum, duragloss, blackfire, chemical guys, Wolfgang, pinnacle, lake country, and poorboys world. The online world catalogue of auto detailing supplies is easy to get lost in.

Also, don't be afraid of hurting your paint. With a dual action buffer and a new vehicle with original paint (that does not necessarily have a reputation for being soft) your ability to harm the paint is pretty limited. Unless you are prone to foolhardy choices.
