a friend of mine has a masters in teaching and is unempolyed and when she goes on interiwes now she leaves off her masters on her resume because she wasnt haven anyluck do her over qulified for the positions. how terrible is that you work ur ass off and cant even use a masters certification to your resume. because employores think too much money!!!!

This is fantastic news. Enjoy your time off. You won't have another break like this for 30 or more years

Congratulations on reaching not only an important but a significant milestone....:props:

it's pretty sad when some spend so much money ($1000-$10,000+) on their education and can't even find a job these days. you can have a masters in something but what good is it if there isn't a need or demand for whatever you're educated in (got to be careful in what you pick these days). for those unemployed, stay strong and positive...

Congrats, I will be graduating this coming spring from UofL. I am already getting that feeling of what to do next as well.

Congratulations Jon!! I'm so happy for you! Im the MAN

Congrats, I have a degree in exercise pys., just a recommendation, get out of that field, no money unless you have your Phd. As soon as I experienced this, looked to get in recreation and was much better. Only problem with rec. now a days, all the government cuts so may be more difficult to get in the field but either way, best of luck!

Thank you, My emphasis is on education so my goal is to be a PE and/or Health teacher. So while my desired position is safe now who knows in a few years. But then again that is with everything in life.
