My memorial day sale package arrived today, Yeah!

I woke up with a horrible cold, sore throat, and achy everywhere!

I feel like crap. I wanted to detail our SVT Cobra and drive it in a parade on Monday. Last time it lasted 2 weeks. I hope I passes fast. Spiney-Dave

Having a cold and sore throat is no fun regardless of when you have it. Looking on the bright side, having a cool order of supplies arrive has got to make you feel a little bit better.... :props:
 
Go to the doctor and get a shot. You'll be good to go 24hrs later

Doc won't even see me until I've had it for 10 days, that's the normal time it takes to pass. Last time it was 2.5 weeks so I got 2 series of antibiotics. One for chest infection, then another for sinus infection. There are too many anti-biotic resistant strains of bugs out there because in the 80-90's they went overboard with antibiotics. Right now got 102 fever. Need to wait to open box and take pics. It shipped fast from sunny FL
 
I've heard if you spread some wax on your chest before you go to bed that it works wonders!

Growing up my mom would spread Vix on my chest and have me sleep all night like that. Probably why today I can not stand cooking oil or grease on my neck. It's torture for me. I can't even stand the atmosphere in a KFC even though I love their chicken.

10 days is to long to wait. My doctor see's me whenever I want. I have the combo to the rear door

One of the greatest benefits of being a detailer is getting healthcare most others will never recieve. What is this waiting in a room to be seen I hear so many complain about? lol

Be very careful with the antibiotics. You are correct in assuming that they can be problematic. A family member of mine contracted C Diff from using antibiotics for a sinus infection.

He almost died this year, but is doing ok after a hospitalization and heavy duty medication.

Get some rest and get better.

Try Vicks on your feet and then put socks on...I've heard this works.
